    Pride Season 2026 Overview

Europe's Pride season typically runs from May to September, with events happening across the continent every weekend. From massive celebrations attracting millions to intimate community events, there's a Pride for everyone.

2026 promises to be the biggest Pride season yet, with new events launching in several Eastern European cities and record attendance expected at established celebrations.

    January – April: Early Season

While most Pride events happen in summer, several cities kick off early. Winter Pride events in cities like Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) offer a warm escape, while early spring Prides in cities like Brighton start building momentum.

Use LGBTQ-Dating.com's Pride Events calendar to plan your early-season travels.

    May: Season Opener

Birmingham Pride (UK) and Belgian Pride (Brussels) typically open the main season in May. Birmingham Pride is one of the UK's largest two-day festivals, while Belgian Pride brings the EU capital to life with colour and celebration.

May is also when many smaller cities hold their first-ever Pride events — check our calendar for new additions.

    June: Peak Pride Month

June is the heart of Pride season. Major events include Pride in London, Paris Marche des Fiertés, Madrid Orgullo (one of the world's largest), Oslo Pride, Dublin Pride, Athens Pride, and dozens more.

Madrid's Orgullo is unmissable — spanning an entire week with parties, parades, and cultural events attracting over 2 million people.

    July – August: Summer Celebrations

July and August bring Pride to Nordic countries and Central Europe. Stockholm Pride (Scandinavia's largest), Amsterdam Canal Pride (boats on the canals!), Cologne CSD (Europe's largest parade), and Prague Pride are all highlights.

Amsterdam's Canal Pride is unique — the parade takes place on boats along the city's famous canals, making it one of the most photographed Pride events in the world.

    September – December: Closing Season

The season wraps up with events in cities like Rotterdam, Antwerp, and several smaller communities. These late-season Prides often have a more intimate, community-focused feel.

Some cities also hold Winter Pride or Christmas Pride events to keep the community connected throughout the colder months.
